Yeah, when I was in highschool in Art we had to take an art history test. It was kinda boring but we only had to do that once in grade9. But I prefered learning about ancient history like the Celtic wars, the Roman empire, ect. And of course I enjoyed learning about the eariler history, such as the war of 1812, WW1 and WW2.

For art history, I have a personal preference for Greek and Roman art. Everything else, I didn't have an interest for and it kind of bored me (which is probably why I get distracted by the computer when I'm in class :P). For general history, I'm more into the Renaissance period, Early Greek history and wars such as The Battle of Thermopylae and Troy, WWII, the American Revolution/American Independence.
